HEAD COACH : Coach Morris
Twenty years ago before Michelle Morris took over the reins of the softball team, she delivered the first pitch in the Lady Eagles’ inaugural season.  Now, after 13 years of teaching and coaching at Live Oak, Coach Morris has come a very long way.

While earning a BS at Mississippi College, Coach Morris played the positions of both catcher and pitcher. Her honors include All Gulf-South Conference Team, Choctaw MVP, and GSC Conference Runner-up.  She also continued her college education by earning a M. ED at Southeastern Louisiana University and an ED. S. at LSU.

Ever since Coach Morris’ start as a coach, the Live Oak Eagles softball team has earned many accomplishments.  They are as follows:

District Champs 1996-2007
Bi-District Champs 1996-1997, 1999-2007
Regional Champs 1999, 2002, 2004-07
State Runner-up  2002, 2007

Coach Morris has been selected as 6-4A Coach of the Year for the past 4 seasons and was selected as All-Metro Coach of the Year in 2007.  Coach Morris also had the privilege of coaching the All-Star East squad to victory in 2007.
