for $10.00 each or $20.00 for a couple. The price will
increase at the door to $25.00 a couple. |

Club Pictures

Students and Teachers: Club Picture day will be Wedensday
december 3 - we will start around 7:45 and pictures will be
taken in the front gym. Please write the schedule on the
board and make sure students are released 2 minutes before
it is their time to take pictures. Picture schedules will
also be posted in each hall. |

Seniors

Seniors: If you have attended Live Oak Schools since
Kindergarten please see Mrs. Hall to sign up for the 13 year
Live Oakian picture on Wednesday. Also, tux and drape
retakes will be this Wednesday - if you did not sign up with
Mrs. Hall you can not take pictures. If you turned in your
name to Mrs. Hall - we will start after roll call with the
girls. We will also take our Senior group picture for the
front inside cover of the yearbook - you also have a chance
to purchase this picture. If you want to purchase the
picture you must turn in the money on Wednesday Dec. 3 - See
your English teacher for a picture envelope. |

FBLA

will again be participating in the Livingston Parish
Christmas Crusade for Children. Please bring a new,
unwrapped toy to Mrs. Aucoin, Mrs. Jenkins or Mrs. Gonzales
by Friday, December 5. We would like to see the entire
school participate. FBLA members - remember this is a
requirement for district. Please see Mrs. Aucoin in room 117
for more information. |

Key Club

Key Club members, the deadline for turning in "Toys for
Teens" money has been extended to Dec. 12th. Dec. 12th is
also the next day for Teacher Appreciation. See Ms. Bennett
for details. |

Cross Country

Congratulations to the boys cross country team for winning
the district championship yesterday and to the girls cross
country team for being district runner-ups. The boys team
was lead by Mason Monaghon, Travis Johnson, and Parker Kersh.
All 3 receiving district 1st team honors. Receiving 2nd
team all-district honors for the boys were Keith Lejeune,
Mickey Miller, Justin Jones, David Moorhead, Zachary Webb,
and Hayden Gunther. The girls team was led by Chandler
Venable, Kayln Asevedo, and Shelby Matthews. All 3
receiving district 1st team honors. Receiving 2nd team
all-district honors for the girls were Lauren Larson,
Elizabeth Ford, Emily Blount, Brittany Gonzales, Brooke
Gonzales, and Jennifer Jarreau. |

Beta Club
posted 11/17/08 The
Beta club sponsors want to thank the Beta club members who
went to District. You all were wonderful and we
appreciate your outstanding participation in everything from
Wacky Games to Quiz Bowl. Ashley Ruiz won 1st place with
her outstanding speech on stem cell research. Sarah
Rushing, Elaine Giles, Erin Fennel and Mickey Hagan won 2nd
place in special talent with their piano and singing
performance. Live Oak High won overall 3rd place in the
Wacky Games division. Thanks again. |

Winter Formal

Winter formal tickets are in. You can purchase them in the
office for $10.00 each. The cost of each ticket will be go
up December 2nd. The dance will be held on December 6th in
the back gym from 8-11pm. This dance is open for all
students Freshmen through Seniors. |
